Teen charged with Deptford murder
Monday, 06 August 2012
A TEEN from Edgware has been charged with stabbing a 16-year-old boy to death in south-east London last week.
Felix Conel, 18, of Silkstream Road, Edgware, and Jeffrey Otete, 18, from Deptford were arrested at Mr Conel’s home on August 1 after Nathanial Brown was stabbed in the chest. Another man was arrested at Silkstream Road on Wednesday and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Nathanial of Gravesend was found in Launcelot Road, Downham, at 4am and died at the scene. A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a single stab wound to the heart.
Mr Conel, Mr Otete and a 16-year-old boy appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Friday charged with Nathanial’s murder and were sent for trial at the Old Bailey on November 9, 2012.
Two men and a woman were arrested in Deptford on Wednesday and have since been bailed, pending further enquiries.
