Police concern for missing man who 'should not be approached'

By Dave Speck in Local People

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the wellbeing of a man from Edgware who hasn’t been seen since last Friday (February 3).

Hussein Maxamed is described as a Somali male, black, 6ft tall and of slim build.

A police spokesman said: “Hussein requires regular medication and can become confused and agitated without it.

“If seen he should not be approached and the public is asked to call 999.”

At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a blue top, blue trousers, black shoes and blue jacket.

Police say he is known to frequent Tottenham, Edmonton, Enfield and Edgware areas, but he also has had previous links to Swansea and Cardiff.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police on 101 or Missing People on 116000.
